We are all set to go to the IRB Sevens at Wellington this Friday and Saturday, followed by the V8 BrUTES at Manfield on Sunday. The good news for the kids is that they get Monday off (Waitangi Day) to recover from the big weekend before going back to school on Tuesday.
I haven't seen any cross promotion of these two events (although Manfield had a stand at the Vodafone X Air games where they were giving out posters) but it seems to me that there are alot of people travelling down to Wellington for the Sevens who could be heading North on Sunday that the autosport guys (and Manawatu region) could ambush.
